Have you seen the seventh season of Degrassi from the beginning? I missed that when it was aired as I was out of station those days. Today, I am free enough to watch whatever I missed so I came here to watch the seventh season. I’ve downloaded and watched just seven episodes yet. As lack of time is here so I’ll go further on some other day. Well, I found the series more dramatic in the beginning as compared to the previous seasons. After watching the first episode, ‘Standing in the Dark’, I felt that season is worth seeing and I should watch forward. But as I reached to the sixth episode, my misunderstanding got blown away.

You’ve watched these episodes and you know why I am saying all this. In the very first episode of this season, Dorcy drinks at a party and loses her control and unconsciously goes with an unknown man into room thinking him as Peter and gets raped. Next day, she tells Peter and he boasts in front of his friends about his hidden affair with Dorcy, but later on discovers that he didn’t sleep with Dorcy that night. Now Manny and Peter convince her for a medical check up and she finds that she has got some disease from the person she slept with. Now you must be eager to know what happened next. I was too. But nothing happened further until sixth episode about the event happened in the first episode. In fact in the fifth episode, you will find another tragedy that Spinner is stricken with cancer so he is frustrated and is not ready to accept the bitter reality.

I don’t know what was wrong there. The show was going at right pace from six seasons and there was continuity in the events before. Writers had not left any long gap between the events earlier and don’t know why it happened this time.

But on this season the writers have suspended the events for many episodes long. But this will be injustice with the series, if I do criticize it for a few episodes, when rest of the part has remained my favorite TV show and will remain the same.

Hey all Degrassi freaks, finally you’re here to have something exciting about Degrassi. Well, exactly like you, I’ve also heard some rumors that Degrassi-the Next Generation spin off is coming. But I am not sure so wouldn’t say anything. Well, what I can provide you is just guidance, what exciting you can get here. As it’s off air so I’m also killing my time by watching its previous episodes here.

Okay, let me share with you what I found most interesting on series. Today I watched a few episodes of season six, and found it as the best in comparison to the previous seasons. Although those seasons have their own separate flavor, but the season six was distinctly good.

In the initial seasons, there was a story based upon lives of high school students, but now in the sixth season the same students get into university and they are pretty excited. They get new dilemmas as well and are trying hard to understand the newer aspects of life. They get trapped into many problems and how do thy come out of that while hesitating to discuss it with anybody who is known to their situation makes this season more interesting.

You will find a new and different sort of entertainment in every episode, and the storyline would also be more than satisfactory. No more long pauses to know the consequence of one incident, everything comes out quickly. I like their way of presenting many story arcs in a single episode. This season is very well written and is also well directed. Moreover, in this season, the show also touched some mature topics like politics, fake love affairs, teenage pregnancies, drugs problem and depression of being trendier than the other etc. Look, I am a Degrassi freak so don’t expect any kind of criticism from me. If you don’t believe me, then try it yourself and you won’t regret taking my suggestion. Enjoy.

Hey Degrassi fans, I hope you are all watching the latest episodes, I’m doing at least. Did you see the latest episode ‘We Built the City’? I don’t know why it was given such kinda title? Episode was all about the prom party and I don’t think the whole city gets involved in any way.

Well, whatever, the episode was good and I liked that, just the title seemed a little odd to me. Liberty and Emma are trying hard to make the prom perfect. But they don’t become successful in the same. Liberty is caught by Manny and Toby making out with Damian. Now, a question mark appears on their life long friendship. The whole episode goes with this dilemma between them. Besides this, Peter struggles about his future as he finds that he has to move away. Rest, I won’t tell you, just download this episode at your own and watch. it.

Degrassi: The Next Generation is a wonderful drama series and to prove it, I do have some facts. First is, it is running with its seventh season, means people do love this show. Secondly, it has been nominated for several awards and has also won some awards, so what says??? This is a goody-goody show and is liked by all including kids and teenagers too. And why not? The show highlights the real issues of teenage life. All the teenagers learn about relationship troubles which characters of series deal with.

Various other problems which modern generation deals with are highlighted on the show like abortions, early age conceiving, break ups, drugs problems and over attraction towards physical pleasure etc. This is quite popular show among teenagers especially, because of its personal involvement with teenagers’ real life issues. Moreover, this is the show which includes everything from murder mysteries to normal college and high school life as well as depicts stress and concern of teenagers about their careers while having fun at colleges.

Degrassi The Next Generation, a very popular and well-known TV series for teens, is currently running with its season 7 and has successfully completed 6 seasons. I never skipped any of the episodes and can say that each episode is unique and have its own plot and specialty. Following episodes will be coming very soon:
