“Degrassi Next Generation” gets together in Hollywood with previous generation
The previous cast members of “Degrassi Next Generation” had very good time shooting scenes with the current cast for new episodes of “Paradise City: Degrassi Goes Hollywood” in Los Angeles. “It was really great to be back with every one.” were the words of Lauren Collins, who portrays the character of Paige, and said smilingly, “We kind of just got right back into the groove and it was like no time had passed at all.” She remembers the time when they enjoyed together on the sets of Degrassi next generation and had great fun like the characters had in the show.
They saw many exotic places and that too in a best company. I think the best part of all this must be they were getting paid for enjoying.
They shot a lot of scenes at the famous places and also got chance to meet some well known celebrities. Lauren said, “L.A. was probably the most fun part of the whole shoot for us. It was mainly me, Adamo and Stacey and then Jake was down really quickly for a day so it was just kind of taking on L.A. in real life, too. We were in the limo shooting scenes, then eating In-N- out Burger and trying to do all those real L.A. things. We went out for a couple of nice dinners and saw some celebrities. It was really fun.”
Telling about the character, Paige, Lauren Collins said that she made her mind to stay in Hollywood in the hope of a good career in fashion but her struggle is not over yet. Now she has joined as an assistant of a reality star. She said, “That’s kind of been an ongoing theme for Paige since she left the halls of Degrassi, nothing’s kind of worked out how she expected her perfect life to be and that’s exactly where this story picks up”
Well, I hope Paige’s dreams come true and she becomes a famous name in the world of fashion.
